Descrption of FH03 KUX, an Accident / Collision Damaged Honda Jazz.

In late November 2005 I was sold FH03KUX, a Honda Jazz vehicle. I wasn't notified of any fault with the car at the time of sale.

Unfortunately it transpires that FH03KUX had been involved in a front end impact. Damage was not limited simply to body panels being bent. I therefore forced the dealership that sold me the car to refund my money and returned the vehicle.

The faults that I was aware of on 16 December when I returned the vehicle are as follows.

It seems likely that FH03 KUX had suffered a front end impact the direction of which was from front to back and from passenger side to driver's side. Clearly, as the slam bar was replaced, the impact was severe enough to distort the engine bay.

In my opinion the standard of the repair work was appalling. I don't know if it would be possible to fix this car and bring it up to an acceptable standard. I would certainly advise extreme caution if purchasing this vehicle.

The car had approximately 20,200 miles on the odometer when it left my possession.

Aside from this unfortunate incident, I thoroughly recommend the Honda Jazz as a car.
